Age of Revolution

HIGH SCHOOL1850 A.D. 2005
Age of Revolution emphasizes U.S. and World History side by side and includes the study of American, British, Asian, European, and African literature. All music, art, architecture and literature come from the decade being studied. This integration and immersion work together to help the student understand the people studied as well as making the information being learned more meaningful. The immersion of the student is doubly important for breaking through the 21st century mentality. Throughout the year, the student will read literature, biographies, historical fiction, cultural studies, and most varieties of reference materials. Some students find the subject matter especially interesting and will want to spend more time than the unit plan presents.
